Paul McCartney isn't performing in Japan as scheduled. The former Beatle announced Saturday that he'd come down with a virus, and on the advise of doctors he rescheduled the date for Monday.
He explained in a new website post Sunday that his condition had "not improved overnight," so he was forced to postpone his second Tokyo concert as well as Monday's make-good appearance. McCartney added that he's "so disappointed and sorry" about letting his fans down.
Paul says he's looking into his options for rescheduling both dates. He's still expected to perform his Wednesday concert at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on Wednesday.
