Sessions Warns Sanctuary Cities There Will Be Consequences

INJOSanctuary cities might start losing big time if Attorney General Jeff Sessions follows through with his warning.

On Tuesday, Sessions warned mayors across the country that their city will lose millions of dollars in grant money if they don't help federal agents deport illegal immigrants.

Further, he added that cities must agree to give the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) access to local jails to interview inmates. They must also notify the DHS 48 hours in advance of their release.

After speculation circulated about the future of Sessions in the position as Attorney General, he made this bold warning as part of a greater plan to curb illegal immigration.

The program will roll out $250 million to local and state governments to beef up law enforcement to fight criminal activity that stems from illegal immigration.
