UPI's Brook Hayes, November 13, 2019: Plastic Threads Found In Oysters, Clams Along The Oregon Coast. Plastics and microplastics are major parts of our everyday lives. Research has noted that we and the foods that we eat are injesting plastic particles each and every day. How can we reconcile the benefits and disadvantages that they produce. This article takes a look as to where we are with microplastics and micropollution as it affects our seafood.
