CONGRESS TO HALT THE ADM'S TRADE AUTHORITY

Steel and aluminum tariffs on Canada and Mexico are hurting farmers and "those have to go" in order to get agricultural interests to support congressional approval the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement trade deal, Grassley said.

Some businesses, especially the farming industry have voiced concerns that the tariff war is hurting their bottom line.  The President has set forth a cushion, for some farmers, to make it easier for them in the midst of the situation.
