The sharks in question- did positively pass the test of a "walking shark", which did freak out scientists studying them. Because the number of "covid positive tests" is such a big part of the fear campaign, the headline falls in line the method of current event click bait.
As if sharks weren't scary enough for humans, now it appears that they can outrun you as well in the water.
Researchers shared their discovery of a new species of shark that appears to be able to walk along the ocean floor now. They say they knew that some sharks have the ability to walk with their fins on dry land for some time, however, they believe these sharks have evolved over time.
The walking sharks tend to appear in roughly the same area, which happens to be in the waters off of Northern Australia. They’re typically smaller in size and it appears to help the sharks hunt for ground-dwelling prey.
